Top Ten Tuesday-Buy Worthy Books

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Loved So Much I Had to Get a Copy for My Personal Library (Submitted by Alecia @ The Staircase Reader). This should be fairly simple for me as I can think of a few books I have added over the last few years for this exact reason 😀 The hard part will be narrowing it down 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Hey bookish friends! How are things going for you?  I am still recovering from my superficial keratectomy, I had a follow-up Thursday, my eye looks good, but the blurry vision could persist for another few weeks. I will visit blogs as I can.

First Line Friday #54- The Buy-In

Happy Friday, my bookish friends! Any plans for the weekend? We are going on vacation 😁 We will drive 10 hours today to Indianapolis, spend the night and visit with family in the morning. Then we will head to Illinois, driving some of Route 66 and stopping by the Route 66 Museum. Sunday we will start a trek to Wisconsin where we will spend the next week exploring (going into Minnesota a bit too), until a wedding next Saturday, then spend Sunday and Monday driving home. I'm excited and exhausted just thinking about it, #introvertproblems.

Welcome back to First Line Friday hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and leave a comment with the first line (or your link).  This week I am reading The Buy-In by Emma St. Clair. I have already read this book and am re-reading it because the second book, The Bluff has just been released. I am NOT usually a re-reader but I am super excited about the second book, so re-reading the first one to savor the books longer 😂.

Can't Wait Wednesday-The Bluff

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing The Bluff by Emma St. Clair. It's no secret that I LOVE her books and I can't wait to read this one!! It is the second book in the Graham Brothers series. It is set to release September 30, 2022. It will also be free on Kindle Unlimited!!!

Top Ten Tuesday-Couples

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books with [__] on the cover. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do today's topic on. I started looking through the books I physically own and decided to feature couples. Out of 158 books only 13 had couples on them... and I'm not entirely sure one of them counts...I will let you decide 😂 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Stacking the shelves #8/Sunday Post #5

Hey bookish friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. We got snow last night for the third weekend in a row. It was about 2 inches but didn't cover the road. It's cold and quite windy today, but that suits me just fine, I plan to stay inside 😁 What are your plans for the weekend?

Stacking the Shelves # 7/Sunday Post #4

Hey bookish friends! I hope your weekend is going well. We finally got our first snow last night (since 2018!), yay!! It was not a lot, about 3 inches, but it was enough to put my son on a 4 hour delay for work (lots of ice because of the low temps), so we played some games this morning.

Anticipated Releases for 2022

Happy New Year!! I can't believe this is the last day of 2021. I am not sad to see it go and I always eagerly anticipate a new year. I am participating again in the Top 10 of 2021 hosted by Kimberly Faye Reads. Today's topic is books I am looking forward to in 2022. This will be an easy list for me to make since I started a Goodreads shelf a while back with my most anticipated releases of 2022, although most of them are in the early part of the year. The hard part will be narrowing it down to ten. So here we go:
