August found me with more reading time...although the month still flew past.
I finished 21 books again in August and DNFed 4. Audio books really helped my numbers this month, as did a few short books. I am back to my average 😊. Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.

Normally I am late with these posts, but this time I am early, LOL. But, to be real, I know I am not going to read anymore big books before September 4th, and I won't get to anymore on my summer TBR. When I planned for these challenges I had NO idea I would lose my job and then spend 2ish months setting up my a small business. This REALLY cut down on my reading time.

Shadows of the Past was Patricia Bradley's debut novel. It is also the first in her Logan Point series. I have read other books by her but not her earlier works.

I am too tired to come up with an original idea so I decided to look over previous topics from before I had a blog. I landed on book series I would like to catch up on. One of my reading goals for this year was to finish book series I had already started and to make that list. Since I only put two series on that list, this will help me to at least make the list 😂 I will list the series and then put the books from that series I need to read to complete it. Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We had an ice storm come through on Sunday with a little bit of snow, so we were in Sunday and Monday (not complaining!). I enjoyed the time to read, blog, and spend with my family with very little distractions.Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is 2021 new releases that I was excited to get to, but didn't. At first I didn't think I would have that many, but looking back I actually had 32 books that I was really looking forward to and wanting to read.
