My Review:
If you've been here longer than a hot minute, you know I am a huge fan of Emma St. Clair. When Upping the Ante dropped into my inbox a few weeks ago, I immediately wanted to read it. Finally, I found the time.
July was another busy month with my reading being low again...I am already hoping August has more time for reading!!
I finished 13 books again in July. Two of them were re-reads. Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.
5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Ten Most Recent Books I Did Not Finish. I would not normally put my DNF books on my blog, so I am going to skip this topic. Instead I will do the last ten books I added to my "Want to read" list on Goodreads. Most of them are books that haven't been released yet. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
I finished 13 books in June (which is the lowest I can remember-ever). Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.

My Review:
While The Pocket Pair could read as a standalone novel, I HIGHLY recommend reading The Buy-In and The Bluff first. I love this series, and it is one you will want to start at the beginning.
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books I recommend to others the most. I don't really have a book I recommend the most because of the diversity of reading interests. So, I am going to do this just a little bit different. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten (So many) Books/Series I Recommend the Most:
Suspense:
The Holly Series by C.C. Warrens. This is one of the best series I have ever read. I have read all of her books and they have all been five stars (I have not read her novella yet). As an added bonus C.C. is very creative and has a bookish shop, check out her T-shirts/swag, I want them all 😂
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Indie/Self-Published Books (submitted by Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits). I am excited about this title because I have read quite a few Indie Authors 😂 The hard part will be remembering WHO they all are, LOL. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Top Ten Indie/Self-Published Authors:
You all know I am going to start with Emma St. Clair! I love her books. These represent two of her series. Emma writes sweet, closed-door romantic comedies. They are hilarious. Her heroines are typically sassy and there is always some kind of animal in each book (notice I didn't say pet 😂).
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books for People Who Liked Author X. I am not able to come up with anything for this, so I am going to go with my top 5 star reads for the first quarter of the year. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
My Top Ten 9 5-star reads of the year (I took out NF and rereads to get me closer to 10):
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is TTT Rewind (Pick a previous topic that you missed or would like to re-do/update.). I went back to 2019 (before I was blogging) and decided to do the audio freebie where Jana did 5 audio books she loved and 5 she was excited to listen to. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Royal (Gone) Rogue was everything I wanted it to be and more.
Welcome back to First Line Friday hosted by Carrie at Reading is My SuperPower!! I am also linking up with Gilion on Rose City Reader for Book Beginnings. This is where you share the beginning of the book that you are reading. To join in the fun grab the book you are reading and leave a comment with the first line (or your link). This week I am RE-reading Royally (Re) Arranged by Emma St. Clair, so that I can read Royal (Gone) Rogue with the characters fresh in my mind 😁

While February is a short month, it felt long this time with all the sickness we had in our house. However, it was a good reading month.
I finished 18 books and DNF 1 in February. Click on the cover of the book if you want to read my review.
